It is known in Argentina as the Capital of Sculptures because of the many pieces of art of this kind which you can find in the sidewalks all along the main streets of the city. Resistencia is a strategic center for the Northeast region of Argentina.

It is the main communication node and the only way to get to the rest of destinations in the coastal of the Mesopotamia, in the city of Resistencia, Capital of the Chaco Province. It has a high status as an outstanding city not only because of its influence area but also because of its influence all over the country.

The city of Resistencia will be the last point where the Desafío Litoral drivers will have in the competence. The tailback will be installed there for two days in which they will complete the last two stages. During those two days, the roads of the chaqueña prarie will have a key role in the end of the race and they will be highly demanding so no one should play it down to reach the finish line.

The prize giving celebration will take place in Resistencia. The city has been chosen to receive the winners of the Desafío of the Litoral and greet every single competitor who get to the finish line of the race after 1,600 kilometers of special stages.
